The Chicago Heights Alumni Chapter "The Heights" chartered October 23, 1965.
The purpose of the chapter is to bring the vision of the founders of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc. to the south suburban community of Chicago. The Chicago Heights Alumni Chapter is active in the community showing it's commitment to the fraternity's objectives. The range of the chapter's activities include, but is not limited to, donating to needy families, granting scholarships, and mentoring young men. Members of our chapter represent different professional backgrounds, and experiences. The Chicago Heights Alumni Chapter, like the fraternity, believes in training for leadership. Prior to each fraternal year the members gather to plan activities, goals, and directions for the chapter. The retreat is named for Past Polemarch - Effy Peters (Mini-Conference). Each year finds the Chicago Heights Alumni Chapter doing more to serve the public.
